Daniel and I have tested that this fixes the disconnects for us, and
thus far we have both survived at least 8 hours without disconnection.
I can't imagine why it wouldn't fix things for Adium as well.  I'm
hoping we can push out a Pidgin 2.5.2 relatively soon including this
fix.
