Do you have better numbers?

If you prefer personal experience I can tell you that's what I've seen
on IRC, forums on the Internet, and personal requests. You can also
check the number of comments on Pidgin's Trac [1].

I could also do some research on the forums I've seen, but you
probably won't take that as valid input. I'm all in for a massive
poll, but you probably won't find that acceptable either.

So I don't see any reason not to trust that number, as it matches the
reality I've seen.

And BTW, there's many people that are not computer experts, many are
Windows users, clicking a .exe file is not that difficult, or using
your package manager, and many blogs have spread the word about
msn-pecan.
