Have you built Adium before?

Maybe I should push for a msn-pecan Adium plug-in, just like the skype
one, so users can try it easily,

That's certainly possible, but only people with the same capabilities
would be able to see it, not people with the official msn messenger.
That goes against libpurple's policies.
