XMPP s2s is pretty flaky, if it's working depends on both servers, and  
I've had quite a few issues with that. ejabberd has some troubles with  
gtalk in particular, and gtalk has a history of very flaky s2s in  
general.

However, it should work, I've got two people online from other servers  
right now (I've seen more though) on my account on own domain, which  
runs on the same ejabberd server.
One problem might be that I don't have a proper SSL certificate for  
adiumx.com, and thus the s2s connection might be rejected by the other  
server, because the CN of the certificate used is "*.monitzer.com".
