[Adium-devl] Where things stand

Hey guys,

First of all, sorry for not being around much lately.  My girlfriend  
just had open heart surgery for the second time in a year so  
everything kind of got put on hold for a while.  Next week I'm also  
going to be largely absent because I'm between leases and get to spend  
the week as a hermit.

Anyway, down to business.  I think we need to call for a feature  
freeze on 1.3.  I've seen some awesome stuff going in recently but I  
think we need to put the kibosh on it for now so we can work on  
getting it out the door.  Also with GSoC coding starting soon (May  
26th) I'd rather not be handing student branches with a bunch of  
largely in-progress features.  That being said, for everyone who has  
been working on new stuff lately (and anyone else with the time to  
contribute) I'd like to propose spending the next week getting any  
loose ends tied up so we can branch 1.3 and get the student branches  
created.

David/Colin:
Do your students have SVN and blog access yet?  If not let me know and  
I'll get them set up.

Students (I certainly hope you're all subscribed to this list by  
now...):
I haven't seen anything from you on this list so how about introducing  
yourselves to us.  Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a way to  
let everyone know who you are and what you're about!  Once everyone  
has blog access I'd like to see you guys post a similar introduction  
there to let the community know who you are and tell them a little  
about what you're going to be working on.


If anyone else has things they need me to look into/ take care of,  
just let me know.  I'll be at work all next week so I should be online  
then at least if you need me.
