I approve of this proposal.

It doesn't even need to be Facebook-specific: we could implement it  
in the abstract account class, so that all accounts have this  
checkbox. Twitter accounts should have it off by default.

I do think we could improve the wording—something like “Update  
this account's status when I change global status”, perhaps. But the  
underlying idea is sound.
