[Adium-devl] About msn-pecan

Hi everyone,

msn-pecan is an alternative MSN protocol plug-in for libpurple. The
goal is to provide much faster development than in the official
libpurple plug-in.

Unfortunately the implementation probably isn't Adium-friendly right
now, and I would like to change that, but since I don't have any way
to test that I need someone that can compile and test some changes.

Would anyone be willing to work with me trying some patches until we
get this right?

If you are wondering why msn-pecan, I'll explain briefly. I'm the guy
who did most of the msn prpl a couple of years back, and now I'm
interested again. Now I see many bad decisions I did and I'm fixing
those along with bringing new features while staying stable at the
same time. Pidgin devs and I disagree on a lot of core issues but
mainly the issue is that I don't have commit access, so I'm doing the
development as a fork.
