This seems odd to me. I actually *love* having the the "email  
address" (it needn't be a valid email) in the feed, because that's the  
_only_ identifying information on who made a commit if you happen to  
follow commits via RSS the way I do. I'd hate to lose that, but that's  
just my 2¢.
