Nope, msn-pecan uses git.

AFAIK bzr support for svn is quite good, just like git's. So cloning
an svn repo should be a piece of cake.

I personally prefer git[1], but I'm not an Adium developer, so I guess
it doesn't matter.
BTW, my mtn->git script is basically done, so soon I'll publish an
exact replica of Pidgin's mtn repo in git.
