Hi Evan,

I just enabled support to compile msn-pecan statically. You can find
it in the latest git.

However, Pidgin needs some changes for it to work, so I'm attaching the patches.

Just copy the msn-pecan directory into libpurple/protocols/msn_pecan.

That's it :)
