Following BJ's example I figured I should do the same.
I'm Geoff Foster. I'm doing my Masters in Computer Science at Carleton
University in Ottawa. I'm doing the DataDetectors project, so I'm
creating a framework that mimics the Apple one (but will be better!!,
heh) that will be BSD licensed. I'll be integrating it into Adium as
well so that dates/times/addresses/phone numbers/etc. will be detected
in a conversation and the user will be able to quickly and easily add
the information to iCal or AddressBook.
I'm also currently in Mountain View, CA visiting a friend for a few
days and come Sunday the 8th I'll be staying in San Francisco and
attending WWDC.
Glad to be onboard. Once I've got something that's semi-usable I look
forward to the feedback. Cheers!
