But if we switch to MSNP15 now, we have to do at least a couple more  
betas to make sure it works for all the beta testers and doesn't break  
anything that MSN-pecan fixed.

I get the sense that we are getting ready to release it, sometime soon  
after b8; switching to a different MSN prpl for the release track  
would effectively reset that clock for us. Hence Eric's suggestion to  
apply it in a branch, and release 1.3 with MSN-pecan, and examine  
whether to use MSN-pecan or MSNP15 for 1.4.
