It's always good to find the cross-over tickets. It's very helpful to know
when an issue we're dealing with is "in the system" over at pidgin.  Equally
as useful is to have tickets filed with them for problem we have found where
the root cause actually lies in libpurple.

I'm more than willing to accept contributions to the help viewer docs! ;)
(If you were interest I recommend documenting things on the trac wiki
because it's then very easy to drop into the help templates.)

I would be against passing this off for 2 main reasons:

#1 I feel that those best qualified to write about things are the people
that know them best.  It's always much easier to write on a topic on which
you have intimate knowledge.

#2 I wouldn't want to give up the sense of accomplishment one feels when
they finally get to announce something that they've been working hard on,
and think that it's important for morale to let people have their "moments".
