Hi Chris
I think the main advantage is
- that it is encrypted by default
- the PGP key is the chat adress
- No logging servers
- it is decentral organized
- emailfunction means that emails are transferred in a stream, so no data
retention
- it allows File sharing
- it is a web of trust, so myspace and facebook decentral like gnutella
- it is a game network layer, which means an open source hamatchi
- it is cool to upgrate to the modern technologie
