'Broken' might be the wrong word, but it's very close to the truth.  I  
definitely feel that the current version control system (svn 1.4)  
actively discourages (by complexity and fragility) microbranches [and  
macrobranches for that matter; I really am not looking forward to  
branching trunk to adium-1.2] and that, in so doing, it stifles  
development.
