Actually, David is misremembering by a factor of ten.

Adium 1.2.1.dmg to date (since release 1/18/08): 1,011,739 downloads
for 13,680.92 GB = 13.36 TB.

For comparison, for the betas:
Adium 1.2.1b1.dmg: 8,129 downloads (134 gb)
Adium 1.2.1b2.dmg: 6,087 downloads (101 gb)

Adium 1.2.2b1.dmg downloads to date since it was posted Tuesday: 9,325
(165 gb).

Very few people download betas after a day or two out from their
release, so I don't expect many more on 1.2.2b1.

"Cut you some slack" doesn't begin to describe it. Cachefly donates
100% of the bandwidth we use. They're completely awesome, asking only
a link on the adiumx.com in return... I mention them in the blog post
with each release out of thankfulness, not out of any requirement
(suggested or explicit).
