Hey guys,

I just saw that the Pidgin guys have frozen strings to gear up for a  
release and I'd like to suggest that we follow soon after.  It's been  
over 60 days since our last release and we've been having some Yahoo!  
connection issues (as well as the standard random MSN errors).  I know  
that the latest libpurple has fixes for a few of these  so I'd like to  
see us work on prepping a minor release.  If no one objects, I'd like  
to roll out a beta soonish (after they drop 2.5.3 would be fine).

Evan is currently in Iowa so we may need someone else to run the  
monotone merge.  Does anyone have a checkout set up and the  
willingness to run said merge?
