[Adium-devl] Question regarding libpurple...

Hi everyone,
I'm just getting into objective-c and Adium development, and I have a
question I can't answer...

I understand that Adium maintains your connections on your computer with
libpurple.  But I also heard that Meebo uses libpurple as well.  How do
services such as Meebo maintain a pool of connections on their end without
the service providers blocking them?
