[Adium-devl] Throwing the switch

It's been quite a while since we decided we wanted to switch over to  
Mercurial, and we haven't made a whole lot of progress. Peter and I  
have been working intermittently on getting our converter tool working  
but I admit, it's not been a huge priority for either of us.

In the interests of Getting Shit Done, how about this:

- We wrap up work on 1.3.
- When the time comes to throw the switch to branch, instead of  
creating a branch in subversion, we throw away all history and move to  
1.4 development with a clean Mercurial repository. I can also see the  
merits of bringing over 1.3's history as well, if there's minimal pain  
involved.
- As time goes on, Subversion gets phased out.

Yes, folks who want to do backporting (might) need to have two  
checkouts and use both svn and hg. It's been nearly thee months  
already (a crazy, crazy three months here, but three months  
nonetheless).

What say you guys? People willing to help hack on the vcs importer are  
more than welcome, it's possible that could get wrapped up rather  
quickly there as well. I'm mostly throwing this out there to see if  
people are really still super interested in bringing a lot of history  
along with us to the Promised Land. If not, let's move ASAP.
