I think anyone who has been a mentor or administrator for Adium should
be eligible, with the following preferences all else being equal:
  1) Mentors from this year get higher priority than mentors from last
year who did not mentor this year, on the basis that this-year mentors
are closer to having been intimately involved with the program
  2) Folks who did not attend last year (that is, not Brian and Peter)
get higher priority, on the basis that it is a fun experience which
should be shared as much as possible.

"Lower priority" doesn't mean that we don't want someone to go;
priority should serve a tie-breaker if there are more people able to
go and interested in doing so than slots we have available.

David, what does a "slot" mean? Will, as they did last year, Google
be paying air fare (and air fare alone) for attendees? Or is the
arrangement different in some way?

(Thanks, Chris, for speaking up for me earlier in the thread.) I
won't be available to go then, but I will send an invisible spirit
presence along with one randomly chosen Adium representative. The
spirit presence will cling to your mitral valve for the duration of
the trip, so please let me know if you have a history of valvular
disease before I make my selection.
