comments there if interested in this bug.

It's certainly an important problem.  I don't, however, agree that we  
should hold all further releases on fixing it, especially if no  
further information is available; we might be waiting for the rest of  
time and still not have another release.  This is a major data loss,  
and I would therefore expect a major number of reports given the  
number of downloaders... the lack of many reports makes me suspect  
there is some extra variable for Susan and John for which we aren't  
yet accounting.

We have a 1.1.3 release waiting in the pipes which has some very major  
bug fixes (especially for MSN users who have to use HTTP Connect).   
The only thing holding it back is really that Growl-WithInstaller  
1.1.1 is broken for upgrades in some situations; I'm going to roll  
Adium 1.1.x back to Growl 0.7x for now and push a release with that  
soon unless there's a strong vote with reasons not to.  The new  
release is no more problematic than the current one, for whatever  
value of 'problematic' is true.
