[Adium-devl] Push/Pop (was Re: New wikipage needs input from everyone)

Control-S (and that only) doesn't just push/pop, it actually swaps  
the contents of the input field with the contents of the swap buffer.  
So for example:

Type "Hi"
Control-S ("Hi" now in buffer)
Type "Bye"
Control-S ("Hi" back in input field, "Bye" now in buffer)
Control-S ("Bye" back in input field, "Hi" now in buffer)
Repeat ad-nauseum.

Hence "swapping".
