Some excellent points have been made which I can't respond to this
evening, and I'll definitely respond to the discussion on release
schedule (once I'm done wondering if Renee thinks I'm really dropping
babies over Adium bugs :P) but I'd like to voice support for one
comment:

Yes, yes, yes. 1.2 wasn't close enough to release when 10.5 came out,
and 1.1.4 was an important release to push because of the several
significant problems with 1.1.3 on 10.5. Let's only do a 1.1.5 if we
absolutely have to. As Elliott pointed out (not quoted), it's not
like 1.2.x is dropping an OS compatibility, so we're not having to
worry over the legacy we leave 10.4 users.

Non-regressions on 1.1.5 and 1.2 should go to 1.2.1 for now.
Regressions go to 1.2. Let's get everything cleaned up from the SoC
merges (for example, group chat was merged prematurely, a soft call I
regret -- it needs some love or some pruning or both), stamp out our
regressions, and then either (a) note that libpurple with new MSN
support has been released and adopt that, (b) help get to point a, or
(c) renege on our promises about improved MSN support, revert to the
current release of libpurple without the new MSN code, and release 1.2
before proceeding to point b.

Sound good?

Cheers,
Evan
