Francois, thanks very much for bringing this to our attention.
I've sent the following to the buzzme people via their Contact form at http://www.buzzme.helpfulmobile.com/contactform.php
==========
Subject: Use of Copyrighted Adium images in BuzzMeBe
Body:
Hey, folks,
It's been brought to my attention that your web site and program are
making extensive use of the "Adiumy" images and property. Adium -
including its images - is protected by copyright law and licensed
under the GPL (GNU General Public License).
1. It is a violation of this license (and legally actionable) to make
use of Adium images in association with a program not licensed under
the GPL or a compatible license. I can't find information on your site
as to the license of BuzzMe; please let me know the license under
which it is distributed. If it is, in fact, distributed under the GPL,
I am requesting the source code corresponding to the current BuzzMe
release per the terms of that license.
2. Regardless of the legal aspects of the imagery (i.e., ignoring for
a moment licenses, copyrights, and other legal aspects), I would like
to politely request that you not use the highly-visible and well-known
Adium logos in connection with your software which does not have any
association with the Adium Project. Doing so is harmful to both our
products as it implies an untrue connection between them.
Thank you for your prompt response in this matter,
Evan Schoenberg

I'll keep the list updated regarding any response I get.
