*nod* I think that if we want to shrink the binary size we'll be able  
to do some creativity using symbol stripping and the dead_code_strip  
option. That said, I doubt it'll really be needed.

By the way, if anyone wants to help with the weird linker options I'm  
seeing, I'd be eternally grateful. I'm confused by their existence.  
The work in the branch is all current.
