*nod* Saw that one coming a mile away; it should have been public in  
10.4.

Not sure about the legal side... on the technical side, how does  
having an intermediary forwarding class which, when initialized,  
checks the version and initializes the appropriate actual class, then  
does forwardInvocation to send everything there sound?
