Nice job!
A few glitches (yeah I know it's beta, but just in case you're not aware):

1) It's plagued by the same background image problem as the original -
expand your message window to be wider than about 1024 pixels (might be a
bit more than that) and the background starts to cut out. There was a ticket
open about it a while ago but I closed it since I didn't think anyone was
going to fix it until 2.0 was done anyway.
2) You're probably aware of this one but display pics don't fit well in
their containers... perhaps that's a problem with Safari 3 beta though
because according to your screenshot they fit very nicely...

3) That little AIM logo in the header might need to go since not everyone is
using AIM... perhaps Adiumy should go there! ;)
