Ah!  According to http://www.ilovejackdaniels.com/ 
mod_rewrite_cheat_sheet.png (sweet domain name), the [QSA] flag needs  
to be included for a query string to be passed along-with.  I've made  
that change now.  Is the submit form still pointing there?
