If we go this route we should probably be more specific than general  
or ideas may range beyond the scope of a realistic 3 month project.  
I'm not averse to ambitiousness, dare to dream, I say, but with a  
parachute :-D

We'll also need to prep the candidate to review the branch so they  
know what they are in for - picking up a software base and a branch  
of it at that, in an incomplete state. It takes a certain someone to  
take such tasks :) They will then need a bit of guidance in setting  
realistic expectations of themselves based on that.
