Things that I think would be worth including are stuff that
there is a lot of demand for, but the regular developers
don't have time for. Some random ideas:

  - voice & video - this is just not going to go away, though
    I would like to see the effort contributed to libgaim and
    libjingle, since in many ways that would help everyone.

  - possibly an API interface to allow Java plugins. We dropped
    joscar because of the deprecated CocoaJava bridge, though I
    wonder whether it would provide some benefit to find a
    suitable successor?

  - those projects that never quite got finished last year
