), should be arriving at network redux's data center tomorrow per
UPS. Given the whole Christmas thing (*grin*), it'll probably be up
for use by the end of the week, but it might be sooner.
I ended up reformatting it before it was shipped out because I tried
to install Mac OS X Server on it only to discover that the license
given to ADC folk expires at the end of the year, which certainly
would be no good. Colin, Peter, I put your SSH keys back into the
authorized list for the 'adium' user but didn't recreate personal
accounts yet; we can certainly do that. All developers are welcome to
shell accounts on it... it can also be controlled via Screen Sharing
(VNC), but that should only be used when needed since it doesn't scale
well to multiple users.
Besides getting the build process up and running (we need to configure
it as a buildbot slave again; I reinstalled buildbot via Darwin
Ports), I also configured it as a subethaedit server, which hopefully
will be quite useful. Any text file created in a folder within the
Documents folder of the adium user will be opened by subethaedit and
shared (made a folder action to do this), and open files in
subethaedit automatically save periodically (an always-running
applescript handles that).
Besides buildbot and SEE, what else do y'all think would be useful for
us?
Cheers,
Evan
