I had actually started looking into this a while back but with the whole
closed protocol and such I hadn't gotten too far.  I have a few packet
captures but only recently thought about going back to looking at them.  As
far as support for the feature, this is no different than any other protocol
specific feature... "when libpurple supports it, we will too".  As of right
now they do not (although I will gladly stand corrected if that isn't true).
