I think this is fine. How is that a violation of privacy at all? We  
need these statistics. If you use Google applications, you're  
submitting yourself to WAY more tracking data than that (they track  
every click you make), so I don't see what possible objections a  
normal user could possibly have to this. It's all incredibly reasonable.
