[Adium-devl] LibPurple, what does the 'official' status mean?

Hi,

I have been off on vacation for a few weeks, so I have only just  
found out about the
name changes Pidgin and LibPurple. Now that LibPurple has been an  
'official' project,
is this going to change anything in terms of development? Will Pidgin  
be retooled to
make use of LibPurple, instead of the way it is now? Will the library  
get more focus
and hence facilitate advances by Adium, that it might not have got in  
the past?
