*shrug* You can do what you want, I guess, but I was never a fan of
iChatAgent style things, personally. I think it's a really bad UI
precedent and that a lot of people are confused by it. I don't have a
usability study to back me up, but It would make more sense to me to
have Adium open, and be online. Adium closed, be offline. I'm of the
mind we should avoid it.
Just my personal opinion though.
