Are there really enough requests to justify this? I can't imagine 80%  
of users have the need to ever change this and the more preferences  
we leave in, the more confusing we are and the more documentation we  
need to maintain and field questions for. I say leave it out, it's an  
advanced preference at best, and if it's felt to be that necessary  
make it a hidden default, add it to a Trac page and let the power  
users who want to change it drop down to defaults write and call it a  
day.
