The tab bug that bugs me is that turning off the preference to always
show the tab bar does not actually work.  When a new message comes in
with this preference set to off and that new message causes a new chat
window to be created, the tab bar is displayed until the window gets
focus.  The tab bar of course only has one tab in it because the new
IM caused the window to be created with just one tab, and the size of
that tab is very narrow (which caused me not to even think it was a
tab bar for the longest time).

Once the window gets focus, the tab bar disappears.

I really want to debug this and, since I'm apparently the only person
in the world who actually unsets the preference in question, I'd like
to do it on my own.  I just don't have the experience with Adium's
code or OSX coding in general to find my way to what might be the
cause.

I'm all ears if anyone has pointers or thoughts on where to look.
