Along the lines of my thoughts, might I suggest looking at the  
Applescript Dictionary which I created in Fire about a year ago:

Its AS support was actually fairly usable (in many cases worked  
better that iChat's).  Just wanted to make sure that you knew it was  
there.  Feel free to rip off anything you want from there, and if you  
have questions, I am the person to ask.  Hopefully you will find it  
useful in some regard.  Also, thought I should mention that you  
should look at the AS support within Colloquy as well.

I agree with Evan.  Trac page, with a comment in the list and a blog  
post.  Also, trac allows us to see the current version as well as  
track changes (and who made them).
