Not necessarily. If any file, anywhere within the working copy, is  
modified, you get litter in the output:

svnversion                     %~/Projects/@otherpeoplesprojects/ 
adium/trunk(0)
19316M

OTOH, this provides a second reason to only build releases from clean  
checkouts. :)
