I was mostly speaking about the internal structure, but the UI a bit  
as well.  Certainly it is possible to have the disclosure triangles  
but not necessary.  The hierarchy is already displayed for meta  
contacts within Adium.  We have the list of groups, and the contacts  
within.  In the case of the metacontact, it displays the third level  
hierarchy in the tooltip.  This satisfies my statement.
