This one, I'm going to need some help tracking down. It's tough to
reproduce, I think I can get it with Augie's metacontact. But I'm not
entirely sure. Evan, your help here would be much appreciated—I don't
think I know the internals well enough quite yet (*cough*).
On another note, I'm looking at having a bunch of free time on my
hands this summer, and I happen to be able to grok Java 1.5 (took two
semesters of it). If there is some legwork that needs to be done,
Keith, I would be happy to lend a hand. I know you guys are a bit
short on help.

I had debug symbols compiled in—maybe that's why?

I wouldn't mind looking at this: http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/5093 -
Adium spits the dummy (console error message) for this xml chatlog
file and refuses to display it in the chat transcript viewer
I'll get in touch with gbooker, see if he has any ideas as well.

Thanks. It's been sitting in my tree for quite a while, percolating.
I'm really happy with the way it's all turned out. I've got a lot of
logs in there, but they've actually helped track down bugs. I have
noticed one bug that I haven't been able to reproduce—I had less than
linesToDisplay messages displayed. It was after the latest commit
(fixing the message-history-gets-logged-bug), so if you guys see that,
let me know.
Also, if you notice any slowness or lagging, shoot me the output to
Console, I can take a look and see what's happening.

I think it may be the Javascript implementation we're using to insert
messages. Anyone know where the default one is stored? I know someone
who is quite good at Javascript, I can see if she wouldn't mind
lending us a hand optimalizing it. We could just replace the default
one, if we see it, with our new optimized one (since I think message
views supply their own insertion JS?).
We're almost there everyone :)
