I'm not sure if adding this feature to the old plugin makes much  
sense, since this is only for 1.0 (plus, doesn't 1.0 have a feature  
stop?). Smack doesn't support pre-XMPP SSL any more, so this feature  
is moot there.

Btw, this shouldn't work with any server except gtalk.
