The translation plugin could be included and integrated to an  
International area, as well.

The Get Info window used to be dynamically built up using views  
supplied by multiple plugins... but it turns out to be a huge hassle  
to make these look good together.  Not an argument against, really,  
but just something to keep in mind in implementing a rewrite.
