[Adium-devl] The disk image

2 points:

1) There is a poll functionality. Except folks abused it, so only a  
limited few can create them

2) This is not the type of thing we should be polling for. This is  
how we're presenting Adium, so there will be heavy contention. More  
to the point, asking vague questions that kind of get to the central  
topic (sort of how my dmg question on the blog didn't say "we're  
thinking about possibly changing things with the way we distribute"  
and was more of an opinion asking). We've always gone with the  
opinions of the folks who do the work (the devs) over users in some  
ways and not in others, but when it comes to the technical side of  
things we've always come up with something that made sense and just  
worked.

Basically I think this doesn't need a poll.

Also, for those curious, I agree with Evan's stance that keeping our  
current solution while adding a prettier background if possible.
