16:21:52: <Newtylicious> "Allowing the user to separate out parts of
the contact list" wtf does that mean?
16:22:35: <Mac-arena> Newtylicious: You'll be able to drag out a
group, creating a second CL window with just that group, and
unlinking the group from the window you dragged it from.
16:23:00: <Newtylicious> oh, that's kinda neat.
16:23:34: <paulwilde> Mac-arena: I'm thinking no to dashboard-like
transitions?
16:23:59: <Mac-arena> paulwilde: Like ripples? Well, 1.0 is targeted
for Panther, but maybe we could NSClassFromString it.
16:23:56: <Agos> woah
16:24:02: <Agos> that would be great
16:24:22: <Agos> but it would also be cool
16:24:36: <Agos> to drag contact around even when in "group
bubbles" mode
16:24:49: <Mac-arena> You can.
16:24:58: Mac-arena points to the magic Cmd key.
16:25:15: <Gimp_> hahaha
16:25:23: Gimp_ loves all the hidden features in adium
16:25:11: <Agos> woah
16:25:21: <Agos> gee
16:25:34: <Agos> is THAT clear i'm a switcher? ;)
16:25:45: <Mac-arena> Agos: It's us.

Having two sets of key maps in the contact list is what caused this
problem. I think we should switch back.

Here's what I suggest:

No modifiers: Moves contacts. It should be possible to drag into a
metacontact with no modifiers. Sure, there will be accidental drops,
but the alert box will prevent any damage from that.
⌘: Moves the window. The cursor changes to a hand to reflect this.

Did I miss any modifier effects that can be assigned?
