[Adium-devl] Freenode cloak for Adium

*sigh*
No. I'm the one who initiated the conversation with him. I just want
to get it done (my cloak is going to remain the Growl one even), and
since the application you put in last time just didn't seem to work
out so well, I'd rather just file a new one and go "put a cloak on
these nicks" and be done with it. I don't think it matters that much
who files it, but this is what he told me some conversation.
The problem I think you and he had with that registration is the
phone call to confirm it, which is why this situation seems
advantageous because:
1) He doesn't have to call me at all.
2) If for some reason he changes his mind on that, I live in the same
city he is in, and so time zone conflicts are just not there.
3) If for some reason there is any real problem, I can just take him
out to lunch and usually that solves everything. Fried eggs on an
enchilada usually does that.
4) He knows me in person, we used to work together for a brief
period, and that kinda helps in some situations (not this one, but
still).
I don't think he has anything against you, I just asked him what was
required and that's what he told me. Lilo is a good guy, he's just
really really busy and this seemed like the easiest route to get what
we wanted without absorbing a lot of his time in the process.
Evan said it's fine for me to go ahead and do it, I'm going to go
ahead with it so we can get cloaks that way the fastest. If you have
any problems with me doing it specifically, I won't file it until
tonight so that should give enough time for a reply. I will check my
adium-devil inbox before I file it, but I will probably not be on irc
for the rest of the day (house cleanup day!)
