Personally, I think that having a unified, attractive theme to the  
icons is the most important thing.  As Jorge mentioned, branding can  
be good... I'm certainly not saying that every icon must or should  
have the duck, but some tasteful duckness is good :)

Cool, thanks for that.  I think Contact Icon and Add Contact look  
great now.  View Logs looks good, too, with the darker/higher  
contrast version.

I think I forgot to mention the Emoticon icon because I can't decide  
quite what to say... I'll just list some thoughts:
  - It's mostly prettier than our current icon.  That's good :)
  - I say mostly because the eyes disturb me a little... it's almost  
a halloween-y pair of eyes to me, a little happy/scary.
  - The mouth feels very Yahoo! Messenger.  That's not a bad thing  
necessarily, since the Yahoo! smiley is a friendly little guy...
  - The current one matches our default emoticon set, which seems  
logical (though not required).

What do you think?
