Indeed, I definitely agree here. David and I have been thinking about
this for a while (since WWDC, actually). We discussed it a bit re:
Logging, and this area definitely came up.
Note in the article that Time Machine maintains a separate copy of
each file every time it's changed, so keeping the number of writes low
is important.
