[Adium-devl] New adiumx.com Server Specifications

Clarification: We do have a single dedicated server in the works with
networkredux, not multiple.
Networkredux is indeed a higher capacity, more man-hours-of-support
network than cocoaforge, which is imajes. That said, James is doing
a fantastic job and seems to be really interested in Adium remaining
hosted on his machines. So long as he is willing to do the support
and his network and boxes can provide what we need, I don't think
there's an overriding reason to do a server move. Yes, there's been
some down time and performance problems over time, but he's handled
them well, and it seems to be fast and stable now; if we reach a
point where our traffic's demands are pulling the trac/svn machine
down regularly, it'll make good sense to revisit this. For the
record, Thomas has made it clear that we can move everything there if
we want to (but we should keep in mind in these discussions that
everyone involved is donating valuable resources and be sure to be
thoroughly appreciative :) ).
There are advantages and disadvantages to having everything hosted on
one box. On one hand, convenience; on the other, wider-ranging
problems if the machine has temporary problems. Certainly two
reliable machines are better in most ways than one reliable machine,
especially if both are already configured for our needs.
